synopsis

Coming from the region of Mopti and famous for fishing, the Bozos hold all the secrets of the waters of the river. They have a connection with the spirits which allows them to extract sand from the river. Through Gala, we discover the sand path in the lives of Malians and become aware of the environmental and socio-economic issues linked to the extraction of sand in the Niger River.
