synopsis
Travel diary of a young Madagascan musician who chooses to flee from the political precariousness of her country.
Back in her country, convinced that taking refuge in art is the outcome of this permanent crisis, she invites herself into the creative bubble of other artists.
His journey becomes a quest for identity and the beautiful discovery of another facet of Madagascar until then ignored.
Director
Passionate about music, Môta Soa leads her career as a singer-songwriter, her studies in Master of Music applied to the Visual Arts, and the realization of various audiovisual projects on Art. She is currently preparing a documentary on the work of the painter Liladhar Sandjay, The Act of Breathing (100 Ariary Pansés) and has been asked by a famous group of musicians, the Tambours de Brazza, to make a documentary on one of the last Masters. Drum of the Congo, Samba Dia Loutiti. Tableau noir is his second creative documentary film.
