Joseph Dégramon Ndjom discovered the world of professional cinema in 2010, thanks to an introductory workshop on the production of creative documentaries organized by Africadoc Cameroon with the support of the French Institute of Cameroon, the Goethe Institute and the Spanish Embassy in Cameroon. At the end of this three-month training, he made his first short film Ban nem (Endurance). In 2013-2014, he obtained a Master 2 in creative documentary production at the Gaston Berger University of Saint Louis in Senegal and made a 26-minute short film Moi, bâtard, selected at the Écrans noirs festival in Yaoundé, in the best Cameroonian documentary film category. The author is sensitive to themes related to discrimination, cultural and social stereotypes. He also holds a Master's degree in political history and international relations from the University of Douala (Cameroon).
