The Doc Pacifique programme was started in 2014 in partnership with the international documentary film festival Ânûû-rû Âboro in Poindimié, New Caledonia.
Upstream of the 8e  A course in the fundamentals of production and a script writing residency composed of 17 filmmakers from New Caledonia and 2 from Vanuatu was held in the lead-up to the XNUMXth edition of the festival. During the festival the participants presented their film projects to Pacific and European producers, distributors and broadcasters.

In 2015, following on from the 2014 edition, a three-day masterclass was offered to New Caledonian professionals on “documentary cinema, from its origins to the present day”, which was an opportunity for shared reflections around short films and extracts presented, contextualized and commented.

10 films were completed in June 2020.
