ALL GROWN UP

by Wena Sanchez

PHILIPPINES - 2019 - 61 MINUTES

synopsis

I am 30 years old and I live in the Philippines. My brother Justin, a young adult starting his studies at the University of Cebu, will have to fend for himself as he suffers from ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder with or without Hyperactivity) from a young age.
As I walk through his college adventures, I notice the same symptoms on my own daughter, Marion, entering first grade.
This film relates my personal experience, in the form of a day-to-day chronicle of a school year, where we will see that if all grow up, love is not enough for children who have specific needs, particularly in my country.
